Never a June Article

Last night somebody asked me how long I have been writing this ridiculous blog. As I racked my brain for the starting date I knew I would need to circle back and check. Turns out that it was 2008, which in itself seems like a long time. What startled me even more was that I have never written a blog article to be published in June of any year. What the hell’s up with that?

Maybe I just love the month of June and have subconsciously decided to always take the month off. Soak up some rays and find a tall natural landmark to climb.

Another reason could be that my birthday happens to fall on the following month. Possibly I am so busy getting drunk to avoid the idea of dealing with yet another birthday that I forget to communicate with the outside world.

Yet another reason simply could be that it’s a freak of nature and there really is no explanation. Whatever the reason, it’s an anomaly to me and I think that this year is a good time to break the cycle. In fact, I already have the perfect article planned.
