Liberals Are Sheep, Conservatives Are Mules
It is absolutely true: politically liberal individuals tend to just follow the leader and conservative individuals tend to be too stubborn for their own good. We both suck.
Researchers have found that we outwardly display a key clue to our political views with our eyes. Let’s say that you are having a conversation with someone and a zebra passes by. Of course, you turn to admire this freak of nature. If the person across the table from you follows your eyes, regardless of the conversation, they’re pretty much guaranteed to be liberal. On the other hand, if they continue to stare at you, and probably continue on with the pointless conversation, they most likely belong to the GOP.
We could slice this in so many ways and I just couldn’t resist exploring the possibilities. Before you decide to lynch me, I’m doing my best to be an equal opportunity hater.
So the Rachel Maddow die-hards are going to follow your eyes like babies distracted by shiny balloons. Ever expanding social benefits and subsequent financial deficits ring a bell? Don’t get too excited yet, O’Riley fans. The unnoticed passing of the zebra has proved you are an inhumane robot. War, war, Bush and more war. The study breaks this down a little more and suggests that conservatives tend not to follow another’s gaze because … wait for it … they don’t like being told what to do.
So while the left wingers don’t think for themselves, the right wingers are emotionless kill-bots.
Go ahead, fight this one out but regardless of wich side you choose, everyone loses.
