A Chinese child has 15 fingers and 16 toes. Yes, he will be the most mathematically advanced child to date.
There’s really not much to this post other than to point out this crazy situation. I can pretty much guarantee this is the best picture you’ll see of a 16 toed kid all day today. Some more pictures here.
The boy is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday to remove the extra fingers and toes, local media reported. Experts said a gene mutation contributed to the aberrance. Thank you, Reuters, for this stellar journalism. I’m not sure my life would have been fulfilled had I never experienced this.
