One Chemical Burn Closer to White Hair

I’m not quite sure why it is that I feel a compulsion to have white hair but it seems to be getting the best of me. Some people have mentioned that they really hate the white hair but they can bite me. That’s not my point here.

Unfortunately, I’ve always had dark, thick hair. That means in order to turn my hair completely white it requires 8-10 bleaching treatments. Over the course of these treatments my hair goes from dark brown to light brown to yellow to blond and then finally to white. I have issues with being seen in public with yellow hair so I tend to hurry this process along as fast as I can which is what leads me to the chemical burns.

When I apply 40 volume bleach to my scalp for 2 hours at a time, 8-10 times in a row over the course of 2 days it tends to take a few layers of my skin with it. Normally I would consider this to be a natural cleansing process of old skin but when my head turns into a giant oozing sore I think I may have gone too far. Can’t stop now though, I’m nearly through the yellow phase and will quickly be making my way to blond and then white. Only problem is that it hurts quite a lot to bleach my head with open wounds.

It’s not like I haven’t been through this before, I just tend to forget the amount of work it requires to get all the way to white hair.

One word DORK no actually two words are better DUMB ASS. When will you learn. Is it really worth it. One day all your hair is going to fall out and because of all the checmical burn damage it will not grow back. Then you will be bald like a q-ball. And guess what? We will all be laughing at you. HAHAHAH but it will all be done in love.

Who am I to judge? I’ve always admired your thick brown hair and wished I had been born with hair like it. However, I too have bleached and colored my hair numerous times over the years, and as my fine thin hair disappears and I get closer to looking like Uncle Fester, I’m just content to let the natural course rule.

Have fun … and I hope you’re somewhat “pain free” in the process.
