Too Much Plaid

Tonight is cowboy night in Palm Springs at the local bar, Hunters. Oye. I haven’t seen so much plaid since my family took a road trip to Colorado for a rodeo. It was reason enough to call it an early night.
There are pretty much three bars in Palm Springs:
- Hunters – good from 9:30ish to around 11:30
- Toucans – picks up the same crowd as Hunters from 11:00 to close
- Tool Shed – a whole different crowd that doesn’t start going until midnight at the earliest
With the options so limited, I don’t have much choice but to suck it up and deal with the belt buckles and oversized hats. I just came in for a breather but I guess it’s about time to head back out.
