The Wacky Barber

It was time for another haircut. After all, I am in London…

My friend recommended this place called The Wacky Barber. The bonus was that it was just down the street from where I got off the train. I decided to give it a go.

Prices were pretty decent at 20 quid a cut but the real draw was free cold beer with every visit. How could I possibly go wrong? Andrew took real good care of me and set me up with a beer straight away. I told him he had carte blanche with my hair so he just started chopping away. He told a joke (good ones) about every 45 seconds, so the hour seemed to pass very quickly. It came time to pay and I realized that I only had 10 pounds on me. He didn’t seem the least bit worried and just directed me to the nearest cash point.

I took a loyalty card as I’m sure I’ll be heading back. If your going to London I would suggest checking them out;

76 Long Lane, Smithfield
020 7600 6408

Andrew will take good care of you!

    Thanks for the positive comments. Next time you’re in London drop in, the beer’s still cold and free and I have some new jokes. :-)
