No Phone Calls

I’ll be the first to admit that even while travelling across the tiny towns of Europe I’m still pretty well connected. I keep up with emails, sign on instant messenger and even make a few calls to participate in meetings. Still, it has been so long since my phone has rang or since I’ve received a text message that I’ve actually forgotten what my ringing sounds like.
It’s such a good feeling to have not accepted a single phone call in the past weeks. Sooner or later though, I imagine that I’ll need to get back to real life and take a call. I just hope I recognize my phone when it actually rings.
