Even the UPS Man Drives a Bicycle
In Brisbane Australia I saw the post man delivering his mail on a small motor bike. It surprised me but actually seemed quite logical. In Amsterdam absolutely everyone rides their bicycle around. I’ve never seen anything like it. When I arrived in Berlin I was nearly run over by the post man on his bicycle. It was a neat bicycle though because it seemed to have training wheels just behind the front tire. Now in Cologne I ran across the UPS man and indeed, he was delivering his packages from his bicycle.
The rest I can understand. You can fit quite a lot of mail on a small motor bike or a bicycle but can you really carry that many packages while keeping your balance?
I’ve seen a lot that has surprised me but I’m still amazed at how efficient other people are at accomplishing everyday tasks.
