A Real Test of My German

It’s just a fact, I need a haircut. I can’t be romping around Europe in places like Berlin, London, Paris and Milan looking like a bush man. The problem is that I don’t speak enough German to feel comfortable letting someone take a razor to my head. Hell, I can’t even articulate in English to Josef what I want done. How am I ever going to do it in German?

Maybe it’s actually a blessing in disguise. Maybe I will get something that I never would have thought of and actually love it! It’s kind of like buying a grab bag at the carnival.

This sort of a thing was never an issue in Australia as they spoke English. Granted, their version of English may be more difficult to understand than German, at least we could communicate in writing.

Oh well. I’ll be sure to post pictures of what they decide to sculpt my head into. I just hope they give me racing stripes.
