Tanzania… Here I Come!

Call me crazy, but I decided it would be a good idea to try my hand in some volunteer work for a change. ::gasp:: I know, but it’s okay, cause I’ll still get to travel while I do it! Here’s the scoop… I enrolled for a program through Cross-Cultural Solutions that will send me to Tanzania at the foothills of Kilimanjaro. I’ll get to do things like help little kids with primary education, animal conservation and business development. I’m actually pretty excited. Okay, this is where I turn into the fat lady with blue hair on 2:00 AM public access asking you to whip out your VISA. The program is actually quite expensive. Apparently the volunteer is required to come up with all expenses for the trip as well as any administrative costs that will be incurred as a result of my trip. This comes to just over $3,000 for my mere 4 week stay. If you’d like to help sponsor me you can follow the link at the end of this post to check the program out. Remember it’s tax deductible!

Other than that things have been pretty normal here in New York City. I’m leaving for Amsterdam on Sunday and I couldn’t be more excited! I’ve never been that far north so I hope it’s not too cold. After Amsterdam I’ll swing over to see the rest of Europe.

Back to the poor boy pleading for money… please feel free to pass this link around your office, your friends or just anybody you think might be interested. Any and all support is very much appreciated!

Thanks!!!!
