Back to London

So apparently to get into Tanzania I need a Visa. I thought that being a U.S. citizen basically made me exempt from every rule, ever. I guess not. The worst part is that I only have two ways to submit an application for a Visa: in person and via postal mail. If I submit an application via postal mail they want me to send my passport as well. That would cause some problems for me as I need it to bum around Europe. My only saving grace is that if I apply in person the office is actually in London. What? Yeah, London. They must still be a territory of the United Kingdom. That’s the only explanation I can think of.

I’ll actually be in London on August 29th, but only on August 29th. As with most government offices, they’re open for a total of 2 hours Monday through Friday. Convenient. Basically this means that I need to fly back to London after my stay in Paris specifically to get this Visa. Oh well, I like London anyway.
